2027 Calendars are (almost) here!

Last year I printed my first “landscapes of qathet” calendar and it was a big success! I’ve been busy all year capturing another set of 12 calendar-worthy photos. All photos are local, featuring the waters, mountains, forests, and skies of the qathet Regional District.

About me

Hi! I’m Jessiah, but I go by Jesse (he/him). I moved to Powell River in 2021 and I love it here. My passion is to get outside with my camera and explore the beautiful landscapes that surround us.

Photography is one of the ways I engage with nature. For me, getting outside, breathing the fresh air, and sitting in stillness is what grounds me. But photography adds adventure and purpose that motivates me to get outside in the first place. The bonus is that I get to bring home beautiful photos of the places I’ve been.

For me, my photos are a memory box. I hope for you that they will be an inspiration.
